Shahrukh Khan’s “Chennai Express and Akshay Kumar’s “Once Upon A Time”
will not release in Pakistan. Both films set to release on 8th April, 2013, on
the eve of Eid festival but bad news that id did not get green signal there. Both
super star Shahrukh and Akshay have good fan followers in Pakistan. If it not gets
release there then producer will get jolt of around 20 crores.
The decision to bane these two mega film has taken by Pakistani
film distributors. Biggest distributor Abdul Rashid for Indian film in Pakistan
conformed. Actually, there are four Pakistani films Josh, Ishq Khuda, War and
Mera Naam Afridi set to release on Eid.
Since there is big audience group of
Indian film in Pakistan and distributors earned major part of revenue from
Indian films. So there is great possibility that these two films will dominate box
office and performance of Pakistani film will badly affected.
Though producer of both films are in touch with Abdul Rashid but
so far no any solution has come out. Let see what happens further. Last year,
Akshay Kumar’s “Oh My God” was banned in Pakistan due to religious content.
Pakistan is afraid of these two films. They do not have any doubt but they are confined that these two mega film will spoil all prospect of Pakistani film.
