There is
only two conformed film of Shahrukh Khan in 2013-14 so far. “Chennai Express”
and “Happy New year.”
Chennai Express:- It will be his first film, a
romantic comedy film which is being directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Shidarth
Roy Kapoor under banner of UTV Motion Pictures. First time he is working with
Rohit Shetty who often makes film with Ajay Devgyn. Lead female actor opposite
him is Deepika Padukone.
This film is
a story of a journey of Shurkh Khan from Mumbai to Chennai via train. Name of
train is Chennai Express. In this journey he meets with Deepika Padukone and
fall in love with her. This is second film of Shahrukh Khan with Deepika
Padukone. Few years ago he had worked with her in Farah Khan directed film “Om
Shanit Om.”
The film is
set to release on August, 08, 2013, on the eve of Eid with Akshay Kumar’s film “Once
Upon A Time In Mumbai Again”.
Happy New Year: This film is a romantic film, will
be directed by Farah Khan. Film is going to produce under Shahrukh Khan’s home
production “Red Chillies Entertaiment”. He already worked with Farah Khan in
two films, Mian Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om. Lead actors along with him are
Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani.
Shooting of
this film is not yet started, expected to start after completion of “Chennai
Express”. So release date is not finalized yet but expected to release in early
2014. Apart from this, he will also be seen in a short film directed by R Balki
for celebrating 100 years of Indina Cinema.
