Aashiqui 2 had started with positive note in morning show on
Friday and accelerated by fantastic word of mouth in further shows, therefore
finished first day around 5.75 crores which is handsome amount for a
non-starrer film.
For last few weeks no any film has taken so nice opening on
box office so it is reason to smile for distributors and theater’s owner. Off
course film got advantage of being sequel of Aashiqui , a teen ager love story.
The film has fresh and unique contents and it highly impressed young generation
and proving key of success.
If we talk about Saturday business, it started with better occupancy
around 35% in morning shows and took jump in further shows.
Film did fantastic
business in Bihar, UP, CI, Barrar, Punjab, Rajsthan and Gujrat and remained
average in multiplex due to Hollywood film “Iron Man 3. Saturday collection should
come around 6.25 crores. First weekend should come around 15-18 crores. The film dominated in mass areas and will continue on coming
days. This may be first super hit film of
the year.
