Hollywood Film Oblivion took fantastic opening on domestic centers. The
film had opened with 13.30 million dollars on Friday and expected to take big
jump on Saturday but due to coverage of Boston bomb blast it was less. Overall film
finished 1st first weekend with 38.90 million dollar on domestic center.
If we talk about overseas business, the film was already released a
week ago and collected about 112 crores which brings total worldwide collection
around 150.20 million dollar.
This Tom Cruise starrer film is released over 3782 screens including
large IMAX and not expected to take big opening but it surprised everyone with
performance. Production cost of film is recovered which was around 120 million
dollar.
