“Chashme Baddoor” finished
1st Weekend fantastically with 19 crores. The film started with positive note in
initial shows and improved in further shows by word of mouth on Friday. Though
film could not receive good reviews but it got positive support of audience
specially, juvenile and youth consequently, it improved on Saturday and took
around 35% jump on Sunday from Saturday.
Film took advantage of holiday and collected around 7.45 crores
(exact number is not yet cleared, it may be around 7.75 cr) and film finished
first weekend fantastically. It did fabulous business in multiplex where occupancy
was around 70-75% and in single screens where occupancy was around 50%.
As far as Monday business is concerned film passed the litmus test
and will be king of box office this week. Film started with very positive note
in morning show, better than Friday, and expected to take good jump in evening
and night show. Overall it is doing very good business across the country and Monday
collection should come around 4 crores or more.
