Commando is an action dram film starrer Vidyut Jamwal and Pooja
Chopra. Vidyut Jamwal is projected as an action hero of next generation.
The film had taken good starts on Friday and collected 3.70 crores
but showed sudden drop on Saturday and created illusion. All illusion vanished
when it took good jump on Sunday with 4.15 crores. Film finished first weekend
11.25 crores which was decent amount considering star cast..
Film took positive word of mouth and did good business in single
screens and remained average in multiplex & urban areas. If we talk about
weekdays, it showed around 40% drop on Monday and collected 2.15 crores. Film
sustained well on further days and collected 1.50 on Thursday and brings first
week collection 18.35 crores.
Today, Emraan Hashmi starrer film Ek Thi Daayan is releasing and
it will replace it from big number of screens therefore its business will
affected and if film does well then it will face tough competition. Emaan Hashmi
has good fan followers in mass areas. Right now, Life time collection would be
around 22 crores & will be treated as an above average film.
