Aashiqui 2, Satuday: Collection (1st day & 2nd day trend)

Aashiqui 2 is a teen’s musical love story directed by Mohit Surry. The film took fantastic opening on Friday. Occupancy across the country was around 40-45% which is fantastic for a non starrer film. Now a healthy weekend is evident.


The film started with positive note in initial shows and grew after positive word of mouth, though it received mixed reviews but it does not matter if public response is positive. The film took fantastic start in Bihar, UP, CI, Barrer and Rajsthan but takes tough competition with Hollywood film Iron Man 3 in metros and multiplex.


If we talks about first day collection it is around 4.5 crores on home box office. Reports from some places and night show are yet to come so figure can vary a little bit.  


Strong aspect of film is melodious music which is getting popular among juvenile & youth and a fresh love story of two teen aged boy and girl. Off course it will impress audience.


As far as Saturday business is concerned film has started well in morning shows and trending well, it will grow in further show and 2nd day collection would be more than 1st day.
