Aashiqui 2 is extending toward first big hit of the year. The
film had done stupendous business on Friday & Saturday and now, trending
very well on Sunday. It takes decent jump in initial & noon show and
expected to take big jump in evening and night show.
It is storming on mass centers and doing very well in Bihar,
UP, CI, CP and other places. This is first non-star film after “Student of the
year” which is doing so nice business. The year 2013 is going to see first mega
hit on box office. So far no any film has done stupendous business in this
year.
As far as Sunday collection is concerned it looks around 6.25
crores or more depends on evening and night show. Since, there are two
important IPL match so business may be affect somewhat. First weekend
collection should come around 18 crores. Since, it is a low budget (12 crores)
film so it recovers production cost on first weekend.
