Ek Thi Daayan has taken good start on opening day. The film had started
with positive noted in initial shows with 35% occupancy and remained same in
day shows but it took jump in evening & night show and finished first day
with good figures.
The film has taken very good stat in multiplex but surprisingly slow
in single screens. Usually, Emaraan Hasmi’s film does well in mass belt but show
start has surprised everyone but it is too early to say anything. We hope it will
take big jump on Saturday & Sunday and finish first week with fantastic
opening.
As far as further business is concerned Emraan Hashmi factor will be
important but content will play key role as trend has developed in recent time?
If we go few weeks bak, we see how Himmatwala fell flatly after good start. Ajay
Devgyn’s star power gave good start weak content finished prospect of the film.
But “Ek Thi Daayna has a unique content and people will like it as it
gives indication from very first day in urban areas. Most probable it will do better business in
multiplex & urban area because it has urban content.
Since, it is supernatural romantic thriller so it will attract a
specific group of audience besides Emraan Hashmi and Konkarna Sen Sharma’sfan
followers. As far as first day collection is concerned it will come around 7
crores as early estimated.
