Action drama film “Commando” had taken good opening on
Friday. The film started with positive note and finished first day with 3.75
crores. This amount is fantastic considering no star value. Film producer Sajid
Nadiadwala was very confident about success of film and he is getting expected
result.
Film did fantastic business in mass belt like Bihar, UP, MP and
Gujrat; performance in Lucknow, Indore, Surat, Rohtak and Kanpur was very strong
but below average business in multiplex. Since, it is single screen dominated
film so it will continue good performance on coming days in single screens if
it take some jump in multiplex then it can emerge as another surprise of the
year.
As far as the Saturday business is concerned film showed slight fall that is surprising. Film has collected 3.40 crores. Big jump is expected on
Sunday and it should finished first weekend with decent amount around 11 crores.
