“YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI” is most
awaited and most hyped film of first half of 2013. This is a romantic film
directed by Aryan Mukerji and produced by renowned film producer and director
Karan Johar. It is first film of emerging super star of next generation Ranbir
Kapoor who will seen again with his former girl friend Deepika Podukone in lead
role. Earlier both of them were seen first time, in “Bachna Aey Hasino”. They
are coming together after a long duration.
Aditya Roy Kapoor who has just given
first super hit film “Aashiqui 2” of the year and Kalki Kochlin are also in
lead role along with Ranbir and Deepika. As we know Ranbir Kapoor has given
back to back two big hit films Rock Star and Barfi so there is great expectation
with film. Initial public response from trailer is very positive all round. As
far as music and song is concern two songs Badtameez Dil and Balam Pichkari has
already made place in chartbuster.
Production
cost of film is around 40 crores [budget 25 cr & promotion 15. As far as
recovery of production cost is concern it will be recovered by theatrical,
music and satellite right but there is need to worry about production cost. The
film has great buzz in the market and everybody seeing it as second 100 crores
film of the year. Since, it is a romantic film with all flavors for youth so
film will take grand opening and get status of 100 crores film as well as first
blockbuster film.
