Karan Johar’ latest non-starrer film GIPPI has taken below average business
on first day. Film started slowly in morning show and remains below average in
later show therefore it collected around 0.80 croes on first day.
The film got very positive reviews and
positive word of mouth but it could not converted into cash on Saturday. Film
did similar business on Saturday with slight jump and collected around 1.10
crores which bring total two days collection around 1.90 crores.
The film has good content but it could
not able to pull audience to the theaters, biggest reason may be touch competition
with three films, Aashiqui 2, Shootout At Wadala and Go Goa Gone.
