Aashiqui 2- Scintillating performance, 3rd Sunday, 17th Day Collection

Aashiqui 2 has done amazing business on 3rd weekend and cross the mark of 60 crores. This kind of business was last seen last year when two films Barfi and Oh My God had done amazing business in third weekend, off course credit of success goes to content, melodious music, good direction, and excellent job of new actors. Above all it is audience who makes a film successful or flops and this film has mesmerized audience.

 

There is no need to say anything about it performance, every day it surprises film pundits and gradually extending towards blockbuster status. Although some experts are saying it will stop around 60 crores life time but it is non-stop and proving all prediction and guessing wrong. Youthplanet had already predicted that if word of mouth would be positive then all prediction will be wrong and it is happening.

Now, let us come to the third Sunday business, the film took big jump around 55-60% across the country and some places houseful label was stick over ticket counter. The film did very well in Delhi, Gurgawn and Mumbai. Overall performance was wonderful and film managed around 3 crores. And finish third weekend nett 7 crores.

Now, it finished 17 day’s run on the home box office and grossed 60.50 crores. It will add approximately, 3.5 crores on third weekdays and total collection after 3rd week will be around 63.50 crores. If film does not lose big number of screen in fourth week, it can manage 4-5 crores.
