“Aurangzeb” finished first week with below
expectation. The film could not repeat the performance of Arjun Kapoor first
film Ishaqzade that had been created last week and film experts had started to
see a star in him. Thought it is not right time for measuring any actor’s popularity
by one or two film.
On the whole Aurangzeb could not stand
on expectation and added only 19 crores in first week. The film had performed
below average on weekend and could not improv on weekday. As far as Thursday’s
business is concerned it has collected 1.35 crores. Film will add some crores in
second week due to absence of any big release this Friday.
