Aashiqui 2, Stunning performance, 2nd Week, 14th day Collection

 Aashiqui 2 has stunned everyone with its performance in second week. The film continued outstanding performance despite losing some screen space in 2nd week and collected handsome amount. Once again I like to say it’s running on the track of “OMG” and may get blockbuster status depends on screen space available in third and fourth week.

 

The film finished 2nd week fantastically and collected 17.27 crores. It had collected 9.35 crores on 2nd weekend that means it collected around 8 crores on weekday. This is supper performance by any film in this year that is pleased surprise for film industry including entire film unit. The film is earning almost similar number on weekdays either it is first week or second week.

If we talk about 2nd Wednesday and Thursday’s business it did better business on Wednesday with 2 crores and 1.90 crores on Thursday. Now it has completed 14 day’s voyage on home box office and collected 53.37 crores as expected. Film should touch or cross the mark of 60 crores in third week.

Today, three new films Karan Johar’s Gippi, YR Films’ Aurangzeb and Saif Ali Khan’s Go Goa Gone is releasing. It will reduced its screen space and can give good competition especially, Gippi, a film of teens. But, the way film is performing there is less chance that any theater owner will remove it from screens. They can reduce the number of show but won’t remove completely.
