“Aurangzeb” had started slowly in the
morning show and expected to take good jump in the evening and night show but
it could not happen; film took ordinary jump in the evening and night show. Overall
occupancy across the country was around 20-22%. Though it received good reviews
but it could not convert into cash on first day. Now, its further business is
depend on word of mouth.
The film has started well in north and
central part but remain below average in other parts. Performance in mass belt was
better than multiplex and expected to remain same in coming days due to
content. Film did somewhat good business in Delhi and Gurgwan. Friday
collection should come around 2.90-3.10 crores. Film can take big jump on
Saturday and Sunday but it depends on word of mouth.
