GO GOA GONE is known as Saif
Ali Khan’s film but he is not in lead role. Initially he was in gust
appearance, later his role was enlarged due to not familiar star cast. The film
is made on the issue of drugs and activities of mafia drug. Due to offensive
language, excessive violence and drug issue, it has given “A” certificate by
Censor Board of India.
The film was released on Friday with
positive note in morning shows and grows in later shows. Occupancy was around
35-40% across the country. Film did well in urban areas, specially, well in
metro and multiplex and remains below average and average at other centers. Film
collected around 4 crores on Friday. It is getting positive public response and
titillates youth, who would like to watch it again.
If we talk about Saturday, it started
with same note with slight jump and collected around 4.5 As far as performance
is concerned it is good in Delhi, Gurgawn, Mumbai, Banglore and other big city.
It will continue good business in urban area but business may stay less than
expectation in mass area.
Now, it has completed two days
business on box office and collected around 8.5 crores. Today is Sunday and
expected to take big jump, seeing presence of Sail Ali Khan. Right now, first
weekend collection looks around 13-14 crores. This would be decent amount for
an adult film. It will finish first week around 22 crores. But it getting tough
competition with Aashiqui 2 and Shootwout At Wadala so real test will starts on
weekdays.
