Bombay Talkies is collection of four short films directed by
Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerji, Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar. This film is
celebration of centenary year of Indian cinema. This year Indian cinema is
celebrating its hundreds years.
Lead actors are Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukharji, Katrina
Kaif, Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Saquib Saleem,
Aamir khan and Ranbir kapoor. The music is composed by Amit Trivedi. The film
set to release on 3 May 2013.
STORY:
Karan Johar’s film: this is story of a happily married urban
couple, at least it seems so, but things gets when one day wife meets a new
colleague in her office. He changes her life forever.
Deepankar
Banarji’s film: This is a story of an unsuccessful actor, who tries hard to
make a living after his father’s death. In course of event, by chance, he gets
an opportunity to prove his talent in front of world and more importantly to
his daughter.
Anurag
Kashayap’s film: This is story of a man who wants to fulfill last wish
of his ill father, he moves from a small town to Mumbai to fulfill his father’s
wish and save his father’s life.
Zoya Akhtar’s film: This is story of a 12 year-old adolescent boy, came from middle class family, being inspired by a film stars, wants to break conventions of the society and fulfill his dream.
Besides, lead actors, you will see a plenty of actors and actress in a song, Some name among them is Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Karishma Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Juhi Chawla, Saif Ali Khan, Sri Deve, Priyanka Chopra etc.
Prediciton: The film makes enough buzz. Since, it is celebration of hundred year of Indian cinema so people should watch it. As far as first day business is concerned It will take ordinary opening and further, word of mouth will work, if positive film will perform well and all prediction will be fail.
