In a usual cases, a film become super hit when contains
good content, big stars and positive public response. But sometimes a
non-starrer film also gets super hit when it contains heart touching content
and positive mood of audience. This is happening with this year’s film super
hit film Aashiqui 2.
This has mesmerized audience and they like to watch it again and again.
Now, it is running in third week and screens occupancy has reduced due to new
releases every week but there is not affect on it performance, The film is still
doing good business whatever screen is available.
As far as third weekdays performance is
concerned it is doing similar business on each day with slight drop. The film
collected 1.45 crores and 1.31 crores on Monday and Tuesday. It maintained this
trend on Wednesday and collected around 1.20 crores. Now, after 20 day’s
journey, total collection is 64.36 crores and likely to cross the mark of 65
crores by Thursday.
Tomorrow, Arjun Kapoor starrer and
Yash Raj Banner’s film “Aurangzeb” is releasing and it will snatch a good
number of screens so business will be affected and 4th week collection will
smaller than expected but as the film is trending it looks as it will finish
around 70 crores that will be great achievement. Film will finish its run when
Ranbir Kapoor starrer mega film “Yeh Jawani Yeh Deewani” will release.
