geat buzz about Amir Khan’s upcoming film Peekay. This film has broke all previous record of theatrical right. Believe it or not but it is true that Peekay's theatrical right has been sold out in 140 crores and it is highest amount for any film in India till today.
The film is being directed by renowned director Raju Hirani and produced by Bidhu Vinod Chopra. The film is in again, in limelight due to its theatrical distribution right. Earlier it was said that UTV Motion Pictures has bought theatrical right worth 118 crores. Now there is office conformation about this information.

According to
this information Disney UTV has brought the Peekay worldwide distribution
rights for 140 crores. UTV will spend 25 crores for marketing and promotion of
the film in India as well as in overseas. That means Peekay has to earn around
160 crores nett in India to get hit status. Right now it is not right time to
discuss over it success. The film is schedule to release in 2014.
