“STUDENT OF THE YEAR” has completed 3rd week and bring the total at 64 crores on home box office. The film lost lots of screens last week due to three releases; two bollywood films “Luv Shuv Tey Chikan Khurana” & “1920 Evil Returns” and one Hollywood mega release “Skyfall”. The film got some competition but overall, its business was satisfactory.
“SOTY”
managed 03.25 crores in 3rd week that is a handsome amount if consider the
number of screens it had available in 3rd week. Now, it has completed its
journey with 64 crores domestically and 75 crores worldwidely as life time
collection.
“SOTY” was
an experimental venture of Karan Johar and it proved successful. It got the
status of hit film and gave stupendous start to three new faces.
