“1920 EVIL RETURNS” took fantastic opening on Friday. Occupancy
in the theater was good and it collected around 3.25 crores. Film started
well in most of areas like UP, Rajsthan, Bihar, CP and CI but was low in metros
and multiplexes owing to outstanding opening of “Skyfall”, James Bond 007 series
film.
It is a horror film, audience can feel it, and enjoy good
music. Film has some good songs. It earned appreciation of critics and positive word of mouth. As the trend has developed it will take good jump on
Saturday and Sunday. Film has collected 3.25 crores on Friday which is one week
collection of last week released Emraan Hashmi starrer film “Rush”.
This is a small budget film (10 cr) so it will recover
its production cost easily and if the trend developed on 1st day continues it
can touch the mark of hit film. Right now, 1st weekend collection looks around
10-12 crores and 1st week collection around 18 crores. Lifetime collection 25
crores.
