After taking
good opening on day first “Son of Sardar” is doing good business. The film
showed healthy jump around 50% on 2nd day and garnered about 15 crores. It is
doing stupendous business in north India but under-performing in West Bangal and
South Indian.
The film is
getting tough competition with “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” and at some place, it’s
business is badly affected. Film has to improve on other center on coming days
to recover even production cost. The budget of film is 80 crores and expense on
huge promotion is a heavy amount. So it should earn lifetime around
120-125 crores to make it profitable venture.
The film is
release on some overseas centers on limited screens so collection is coming in
that ratio, so far whatever collection has been done on overseas center is okay
but not big.
On the whole, film is doing well and it will get the advantage of
two festival “Bhaiyaduje” and Chitragupta puja” today. So, Thursday collection
should be around 17-19 crores. First
weekend collection looks around 52-58 crores.
