“Jabb TakHai Jaan” is doing well on home box office. The film was little bit affected by
sudden demise of Bala Saheb Thakre, in Mumbai and Maharastra but it able to
manage a handsome amount, 14 crores on Sunday. At the end of first weekend the
film accumulated 85 crores on home box office.
Theaters in
Mumbai and neighborhood will be closed for four days. So its business will be
partially affected. The film is doing excellent business at international box
office and it accumulated a handsome amount, 11 crores on Sunday and brings the
total overseas collection over 45 crores.
Since it is
getting competition with “Son of Sardar” so collections is coming in that
ration; if either film had released sole, the figure would have been far
better. On the whole both films had done well on first weekend; now, it will be
interesting to see; how both do on weekdays. Right now, first week collection of
“JTHJ” looks around 125 crores on home box office and worldwide collection near
200 crores.
