“Son of Sardar” is doing better than “Jab TakHai Jaan” in 2nd week but it can’t be said satisfactory. The film has already
crossed the mark of 100 crores worldwidely but the business of film is affected
by new released Hollywood films“Life of Pie”, Silver Linings Playbook &
Twilight Breaking-Down-2 and Bollywood animated film “Main Hoon Krishna”. The
film has accumulated 3.10 crores on 2nd Saturday and 2nd weekend collection
looks around 9 crores.
Now, second
week collection will come around 12-14 crores and at the end of 2nd week it
will reach around 97 crores on home box office. The film will cross the mark of
100 crores on home box office in 3rd week, if not lose a great number of
screens on next Friday due to release of Aamir Khan’s film “Talaash”.
The film is
already declared hit by Box Office of India and in next few days it will become
profitable venture for makers but it won’t be a profitable ventures for those
distributors, where film is not doing well. The film has accumulated 101.50 crores globally in 12 days. Life time domestic
collection looks around 110-112 crores and global collection 124 crores.
