“Jab Tak Hai Jaan” has accumulated 165.30 crores worldwidely in 13 days. It showed some
jump on Sunday and accumulated a decent amount, 5
crores. Since the film lost a good numbers of screens on Friday, after releasing
of some Hollywood films; “Life of Pi”, Twilight Breaking Dawn-2” and “SilverLinings Playbook” therefore this number will be not considered bad.
The film was
getting good competition with “Son of Sardar” since 13th Nov but performance of
both film was outstanding in particular area and overall performance of both
film was stupendous; but now, equation got change in this week after releasing of
some Hollywood films and competition get more tougher. The way in 2nd week is
not easy; its collection will be affected anymore.
On the
whole, in the journey of thirteen days, the film has done stupendous business and
accumulated around 110 crores on home box
office. The film has accumulated 11.25 crores on
2nd weekend and 2nd week would stay around 13-17 crores. And this amount will
bring the total domestic collection around 124 crores after completion of 2nd
week. Now, the life time domestic collection looks around 128 crores, life time
overseas collection around 65 crores and worldwide life time collection around
193 crores.
