“The Dark Knight Rises” is doing fantastic business on Indian box office. There was some increase in occupancy on Sunday. It has done good business on Sunday and collected 6 crores. The total weekend collection comes around 17.25 crores. It was expected that it will compete with “TheAmazing Spiderman” but it could not. Where “The Amazing Spiderman” had collected 8.50 crores on opening day, it has collected only 5.50 crores, far away with that mark.
On first weekend this film has collected around 17.25 crores and it is expected that it will collect around 22-25 crores in first week. On Friday, there was buzz in the market that “The Dark Knight Rises” has appeared like hurricane and it has badly affected the business of Bollywood film “Coctail”, but in reality this film has not able to make that craze among audience which “The Amazing Spiderman had made”.
On the whole, the film is doing good business on Indian box office and its life time collection would come around 30-35 crors.
