"the Amazing Spiderman” is doing below average business on the Indian box office. On Monday and Tuesday it has done below average business and collected only 0.50 crores and 0.45 crores. Now its total collection is 48.45 crores. Its performance in the first week was awesome and surprising; it was expected that it will collect more than 60 crores on Indian box office and create a new standard for Hollywood film.
But in second week, all these expectation disappeared suddenly after release of big Bollywood movie “Bol Bachchan”. The Collection of “The Amazing Spiderman” suddenly steep down. Now this film is struggling and most probably this is last week in India. Next week another big movie “Cocktail is going to release. So between two films it might sustain.
All over; this film has done excellent business in India and emerged as third best collections for Hollywood film In India after “2012” and “Avatar”. Its life time collection on Indian box office would be around 52 crores.
Whenever, “The Amazing Spiderman” is doing amazing business on the international box office. In six days (July 3 to 8), it has collected $341.2 million worldwidely. In the US, on domestic box office, it has done $65 million opening weekend and 140 million in its first six days. On the Overseas, it has collected $201.6 million in six days.
