“Bol Bachchan” has done stupendous business in first week and gathered 80.70 crores worldwidely and crossed the mark of 60 crores on the domestic box office which was looking difficult. On weekday it has done fantastic business.
On Thursday, it has done awesome business and collected 5 crores nett on the domestic box office. Now, domestic collection of first week is 61.20 crores nett. It is doing fantabulous business on overseas center and collected 19.50 crores.
This film could not get the positive review of critics which usually happens with comedy movies, and later that movie get success. Now, audience is avoiding critics’ advice and using their own mind and after watching film, they are deciding what type of movie is. That is why, this film is getting love of audience and they are coming to theater
This is biggest hit of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn combo. “Singham” and “Golmaal-3” had not earned as much in first week as “Bol Bachchan” has. This is also biggest hit for Abhishek Bachchan. As the trend has developed it can touch the mark of 100 crores. If it happens it would be first film of Abhishekh Bachchan which earned 100 crores. Yesterday, Rohit Shetty had said in an interview with IBN7, “Give me ten days, my film will cross the 100 crores.”
Let see what happens, it seems difficult because today Saif Ali Khan and Dipeeka Padukone starrer “Cocktail” is releasing. Some people are saying that this film will affect the business of “Bol Bachchan” in multiplex but it won’t affect in single screen but it does not seem true.
This pair has given a super hit film in 2009, “Love Aaj Kal” and the plus point of this film is it’s promo on You Tube has been seen more than “Rowdy Rathore” and “Ek Tha Tiger”. So it is not possible that it will only get the place in multiplex. It will give tough competition to “Bol Bachchan”.
