“Cocktail” is doing fantabulous business in all over India especially in multiplexes. There is some drop in occupancy but film is still strong in multiplexes.. In six days it has collected 64 crores worldwidely. On Wednesday it has done awesome business and collected 4.25 crores. This film is also doing super performance on overseas box office.
Now, this film is extending toward the mark of super hit film as it was expected. Few years back the pair of Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone had made dhamal (super performance) on the box office in film “Love Aaj Kaal”. “Cocktail is a love triangle film and people like Saif in the role of a flirt boy. That is one of cause of its super performance.
But on Friday, a big Hollywood film “Dark Night Arises” is releasing on big scale and it will affect the business of this film because both films are multiplex film. Let see how much it is affected by Hollywood film. It is clear that the film will cross the mark of super hit.
Now, Its fist week collection would come in the range of 55 crores. This film is getting love of audience in big cities. This film has affected the business of “Bol Bachchan” in the multiplexes. The life time collection of this film will come about 80 crores.
