“Cocktail” is doing stupendous business on the national box office. On Sunday it has shown superb performance across Indian and collected 13.75 crores. There was unexpected growth in occupancy in the theater on Sunday. This unexpected growth has proved wrong the prediction of many film Pundits. The first weekend collection comes 37 crores nett plus on Indian box office.
This is Saif Ali Khan’s home production second film in this year. In the beginning of year “Agent Vinod” had came but that movie could not do well. Now, this film “Cocktail” is doing fantastic business in all over India. After getting a stupendous start of 10.80 crores on Friday it has done fantabulous business on Saturday and Sunday. There was unexpected improvement in occupancy in theater all over India and it has collected 39.85 crores nett Worldwidely in three days.
The film is doing fantastic business in Delhi, Gurgawn, Noida, Banglore, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Ahmadabad, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mumbai, CI and Mysore territories. This film is giving tough competition to one week old film “Bol Bachchan” in the multiplexes but it is not strong in single screen. So that it will not much affect the business of “Bol Bachchan” because the content of “Cocktail” is different and this type of theme is like in big cities. Next week one Hollywood film “Dark Night Rises” is going to release and it will affect the business of this film.
