Boss- emarging 2nd biggest opener after Chennai Express - 1st Day Report & public response!

Akshay kumar’s Boss bang on box office on opening day and it is emerging as Second biggest opener in mass area after Shahrukh Khan starrer film “Chennai Express”. The film has taken scintillating opening in mass area with 80-85% opening in single screens. Film took scintillating opening in initial show and sustained well through whole day till now and there is great probability that it will increase in evening and night show.

Film is doing exceptionally well in Patna where all shows in all theaters including multiplex is houseful and people is returning empty hand from ticket counter. Board of Housefull is hang over ticket counter in bold latter.

As far as multiplex is concerned it started with 25% occupancy in initial show and improved later in day show and reached around 45-55%, it is little bit less than expectation but it can improve in evening show. Since it is mass area dominated film as I told in previous post in the morning, it has taken stupendous opening in Bihar, CI, CP,Berar, Rajshthan, UP, and Gujrat (Reports from other territory is not received so far).

Public and Critic’s response: So far film has received excellent word of mouth, which is of course good indication for film and maker. As far as review is concerned it is getting positive to mixed review. So film is depending on word of mouth and Akshay Kumar’s star power. First day collection looks around 15-21 crores on the basis of day’s trend.
