“ Besharam”completed five days extended weekend with disappointing
figure. The film had started with good opening 19.50 crores on first day but
negative reviews and negative world of mouth finished prospect of film. Many
experts opined that content of film is week but in reality there is nothing
like that, yes there is some week point but that is acceptable.
Main factor is mood of public, it seems that dose of romantic,
action & comedy has been ended with run of Chennai Express and people want
to see other type of film. That’s why being full mashala (saucy) film it is
rejected by mass people. Now, destiny is fixed that it will treat as a flop
film. Previous week released film will get advantage of bad performance of this
one.
If we talk about Sunday business, Besharam could not take huge
jump and had to satisfied with 7.15 crores. Now, it has finished five days run
and collected around 44.60 crores that is below per and it will finish first week around 55-60
crores and life time around 65-70 crores. Though film will recover production
cost but miss hit status. This is big jolt for Abhinav Kashyap who made a film
after three years duration but cannot affect Ranbir Kapoor.
