Besharam has taken bumper opening on
first day and become biggest opener of Ranbir Kapoor; the film already had fantastic advance booking so it started with
positive note in the morning show with 70-80% occupancy and continues this
trend in later shows. Performance of film was stupendous in multiplex and urban
areas but less in single screens. Though opening in single screens was around 55% which is not bad but it could have batter if promoted well in these
areas.
Film has done stupendous business in
Bihar, UP, Delhi, NCR and other north states but below expectation in central
India. Business in Mumbai was less than Delhi and Gurgaon but it was fantastic.
If we talk about review, it received mixed reviews, where Aaj Tak news website has given
green signal with 3/5 stars, critic Taran Adarsh has said it disappointing. Word
of mouth is also mixed on first day and it will play key role in success of
film.
Collection: Since it has started with 70-80%
occupancy in multiples and 65% in single screen so film has collected good figure
around 19,50 crores slightly better than YJHD. This is biggest
opening of Ranbir Kapoor. Film is completely on the shoulder of Ranbit Kapoor. Tomorrow is working days so film will show big
drop but film should take re-jump on Saturday and Sunday to bring huge weekend.
