Boss- Cricket match restricted form taking big opening, 1st day Collection, update

India vs Australia Cricket match restricted Akshay Kumar's Boss from taking big opening. The film had done very good business in single screen where occupancy reached around 95% in day show form 70% in morning show but film could not do that kind of performance in multiplex and reached around 40-50% from 20% in morning show. Though film did very good in Bihar, UP, CI, CP and Berar and good in Delhi and Gurgaon but it couldnot florished in Mumbain, Kolkata and other city.

Boss did exceptionally well in Patna where all shows in all theaters including multiplex  were houseful and many people returned empty hand from ticket counter. They could not get ticket, even on high price (black).  

On the whole, film did very good business in single screen in day and below expectation in multiplex but could not maintained that in night show due to interesting cricket match between India and Austraila and not being a national holiday. Boss has taken ordinary opening of around 11.89 crores, less than expectation. Film was released over 2750 screen so there was expectation that it will be biggest opener Akshay Kumar but it missed that and still Rowdy Rathore (15.10 cr)  is his biggest opener film.

Film will drop on Thursday and Friday owing to working day and take jump on Saturday and Sunday because word of mouth is very strong. Undoubtedly it will continue good performance in single screens but it should improve in multiplex for good lifetime.

Review and Public Response:- As far as reviews are concerned it is positive to mixed; some critics are admiring like Taran Adarsh, IBN 7, ND TV has given positive reviews whenever some pulled leg of director and actors.  Most important and interesting thing is public response which is very strong. 

So far, not any viewers said anything against this film. All appreciated film’s content and Akshay’s acting and death defying & heart pumping stunts. People are very excited and feel amazed to see summer salt stunt, a stunt which was possible only in famous video game “Contra” contra flick.
