Akshay Kumar’s Boss is running on the track of Salman Khan’s
film Wanted (2009). The film is doing fantastic business in single screen and
underperforming in multiplex like Wanted and Singham.
The film started with good occupancy in the morning show in
single screen and remained low in multiplex but it improves in noon and onward
shows in both centers. So film will collect good number on second day, in the
range of 10-11 crores. Since it is working day today and tomorrow so collection
will drop but not like Besharam.
If we talk about first day business it was less than
expectation owning to release on holiday but it was not bigger holiday. At many
areas, office, school and colleges were opened and there was a big cricket
match between India and Australia plus unexpected performance in multiplex; all
these factors prevent it from take big
opening.
Stronger aspect of film is that, it is doing very good in single
screen and word of mouth is very strong. So, film will flourish on coming day and
on the basis of 2nd day trend, weekend collection would come around 55-60 crores.
