Ek Tha Tiger 2nd Tuesday 28th August Worldwide Collection 2nd Monday

Once again “Ek Tha Tiger” took the advantage of holiday and did decent collection on 2nd weekend but showed a huge drop on 2^nd Monday. There was 60-70% drop on 2^nd Monday from Sunday and film able to manage about 2.50 crores. The film has done a handsome collection of 20 crores nett on 2^nd weekend but could not reach near 2^nd week collection of 3 Idiots (33 crores).

In the run of 13 days, film has done stupendous business on home box office as well as on international box office. The domestic collection is reached at 167 crores and Total worldwide collection is 211.10 crores. The film has done tremendous business on overseas and collected over 42 crores. It’s collection on overseas is following: US (12.80 cr), UAE & GCC (13.60 cr), UK (10.93 cr), Australia (3.30 cr), New Zealand (1.10 cr) and Fiji (0.37 cr).

It is expected that film will collect around 32 crores in second week. Now, touching the record of 3 Idiots; domestic (202 cr) overseas (123 cr), looks difficult but not impossible. New film “Shirin Farhad Ki To Nikal Padi” has not given any competition to this film. 

But in next week another big film “Joker” of Akshay Kumar is releasing on big scale. It will take most of screens and “Ek Tha Tiger” will be shrunk on less screens therefore its business will be affected. As the trend is developed the lifetime collection will come around 195-198 crores on home box office and total worldwide collection will be around 235 crores.
