On the 2nd day of 1st test match, India has made 438/10 in 134.7 overs. In reply New Zealand has made 106/5 in 42 overs till the play end in the evening of second day.
On second day India started it inning from 307 for five ahead. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Cheteshwar Pujara played a super inning and made 73 runs and 159 runs. They made a partnership of 127 runs for sixth wickets and entire team got all out at 438.
In reply New Zealand started it inning but Indian spine attack did not allow them to stay on the wicket. At one time, New Zealand was only 55 for 4 wickets. Later Cane Williamson (32) and Jems Frankline (31 batting) did score some run and brought the score at 106/5 at the end of day. Ashwani and Ojha took 3 and 2 wickets.
