After record breaking first day collection, “Ek Tha Tiger” is roaring on the Indian box office. The film has written a new chapter of first day collection and look as it will make some other record. It is doing tremendously all over India. At most of territory it has made a new record of first day collection. Either it is single screen or multiplexes, it is doing equally.
Now, the question rises, is it goodwill of Yash Raj Films or magic of Salman Khan? Obviously, this is synergetic affect of both. Another factors of its grand opening is, it’ releasing on the Independence Day, the national holiday, and its content “patriotic”. Usually, people like to enjoy after Independence Day function. In India, watching film is people’s first choice and second is it’s releasing on broad scale, on 3200 screens.
Ek Tha Tiger has got the benefit of Independence Day and collected around 32 crores on first day. But on second day which was working day, there was 50-60% drop in occupancy and film has able to collect about 14.50 crores. The Total collection of two days is 46.50 crores. The advance booking of film till Sunday is 50-60% booked. The film is getting good response of audience but it is getting mixed review of film experts. The film is doing well across the country and doing well equally in single screen and multiplexes.
