“Ek Tha Tiger” is doing fantabulous business on home box office. Now, there is 40-50% drop from holiday to normal weekdays. The film has done good collection on Friday and collected about 4.50 crores. In nine days it has collected 147.50 crores and become second highest grosser film of Indian cinema.



Now it is extending towards the record of “3 Idiots” which had earned 202.50 crores on domestic box office and 123 crores on overseas, and total worldwide collection were 325 crores. After nine days, Ek Tha Tiger’s domestic collection is 147.50 crores and overseas collection is 29 crores as well as total worldwide collection is 176.63 crores. Now its lifetime collection is depend on the second week collection. And 2nd week collection will decide its future; will it become highest grosser of Indian Cinema or not?




The film has already declared blockbuster hit. The film got a rare situation of four holidays in a week and broke many records. It has made at least one record each day. The film has got advantage of being a film of biggest film banner “Yash Raj Films” of county, stardom of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as well as well reputation of Kabir Khan. This entire combined factor has worked tremendously and result is next to public. The film wrote a new chapter of success in Indian cinema. In coming days it will be difficult to break its record for any film.
