Ek Tha Tiger 141 cr Worldwide, Tuesday, 21st Aug, Collection Monday

“Ek Tha Tiger” is doing amazing business all over India and overseas. This film looks to justify Salman Khan’s earlier film Reddy’s song, “Yahan bhi hoga wahan bhi hoga,……., mera hi jalwa”. The film has collected unbelievable amount of 141 crores worldwidely only in 6 days. Before it, it had crossed milestone of 100 crores on home box office just in five days and become fastest reaching film in Indian film history.

This film has shattered all previous record either it was best opener or fastest reaching 100 crores film. This is Salman’s fourth consecutive 100 crores film. Before it, Dabangg, Reddy, and Bodyguard had got this achievement. Previous all three films were also released on the eve of Eid Festival like this one. But “Ek Tha Tiger” has got a particular advantage. The Eid Festival fell near Independence day and the film maker and Salman Khan decided to release it on Independence Day so that get the advantage of both festival. Really, this film gets immense advantage of this lucky situation.

That is why, it is doing amazing business on home box office. It has collected around 16 crores on Monday and 23.06 crores on Sunday. It is also doing amazing business on overseas center and collected record breaking amount 25 crores in five days. As the trend has developed in last six days it looks it can become highest grosser of Indian cinema.

The film maker Yash Raj Films, director Kabir Khan and Salman Khan is very satisfied with performance of film and they have celebrated this occasion in the form of success party yesterday.

It has no any competitor and it has one more week to do great business. On 31 August, another big movie “Joker” starrer Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha is releasing. There is also big impact of this film in the market so “Ek Tha Tiger” will get tough competition in 3rd week.
