Resident Evil 5 got good opening

“Resident Evil 5: Retribution” is a horror and action sequel. This film has got a good opening on Friday and garnered $8.4 million. The film is not able to repeat the performance of last one which had earned $10.7 million as an opening day collection.

Now it is expected that it will collect around $22 million in first weekend which would be less than previous one ($26.7 million). The first week collection will come around $30 millions.

Another Hollywood film released on Friday is Disney’s 3-D re-release of “Finding Nemo” and this film has also got good opening of around $5.1 and it is expected that first weekend collection will come around $17-18 million.

Rerelease of “The Lion King” has earned $8.9 million and “Beauty and the Beast” has earned 5.6 million.
