BARFI 28th Sep, 2nd Week Worldwide Collection

 “Barfi” has successfully completed 2nd week with a phenomenal collection of about 86 crores on home box office. If this trend continues for two weeks it can cross the mark of 100 crores on home box office and become first 100 crores earner movie of Ranbir Kapoor.

The film has done good business on Thursday and collected 2.30 crores. Now, the 2nd week collection is 26 crores that is a decent amount. If it will be able to collect 10-12 crores in 3rd week then it will certainly cross the mark of 100 crores.

But the way is not so easy, two bollywood films and one Hollywood film is releasing today. Among these three films Akshay’s “Oh MyGod” is an important film; it is going to release on 1200 screens. It is not releasing on broad scale though it is Akshay’s productions and it is promoted properly so it can affect other films.

Over all the film has done wonderful business in two week and become first 100 crores earner (worldwide) film of Ranbir Kapoor. The way in third week would be difficult but not impossible. It will be interesting to see, will it touch the mark of 100 crores on home box office? Right now, the life time collection looks around 92-96 crores.
