“Joker” is under performing on home box office but there is one country on this planet where it has broken almost all previous record. The film is doing fantastic business on Fiji and broke records of Ra one and Don-2 but at other international box office it is under performing.
Its business on home box office is not well. There was a little jump on Sunday and it has collected 5.50 crores but this jump is not enough. Now, the future of this film is clear. At the end of 1st weekend it has collected 15.50 crores worldwidely. Now, first week collection looks around 21-23 crores and lifetime collection around 35-40 crores.
Some people have started to raise finger on Akshay’s super star status. Will the performance of “Joker” cast bad affected on Akshay’s reputation? Does performance of one film decide the future of an actor? Of course not, Ajay Devgn’s “Tezz” was big flop but his next film “Bol Bachchan (100cr)” is blockbuster.
There is news on many websites and news channels that Akshay was not satisfied with film because whatever promises was made, not fulfilled. That’s why he kept him away from promotional campaign and maintained a distance. It seems true and looks as he sent a silent message to his fans and followers to avoid this film otherwise at least film had taken good opening if content was not good.
