Heroine has
taken fantastic opening on Friday. There was 65-70% occupancy across the
country and it has collected around 7.25 crores on very first day. The film has
opened well on home box office and occupancy at multiplexes was awesome and not
bad at single screens. The film has taken outstanding opening in Dubai on
Thursday where it has collected $140,000 and this is not final reports, 19
screens yet to report.
The film has
released on around 2200 screens so it is not so big opening but it is a female
dominated film and usually, such kind of film does not take good opening. “Kahaani”
is exceptional (9.25 crores opening).
The
film has received mixed critic’s and film pundit’s reviews. “Heroine” has taken
good opening and now further business is depends on word of mouth. If the film
will get positive response it will do good business and break previous record
made by either “Kahaani” of “Dirty Picture”.
