India thrashed
defending Champion England in 2nd league match by 90 runs. India bat
first and scored 170/4 in 20 overs. Rohit Sharma made 55 runs and Gautam
Gambhir 45 runs. In reply England could
score only 80/10 in 14.4 overs and lost the match by a big margin.
This is
England’s biggest defeat in 2T Cricket. Irfan Pathan gave initial success to India and restrict
English batsman to play freely. Later Harbhan Singh and Puse Chawala bawled brilliantly and played major role in demolition of England’s
inning. Harbhajan Singh awarded with man of the match.

Zealand by 13 runs

match Pakistan defeated New Zealand. Pakistan played first and made 177/6 in 20
overs. In replay New Zealand made 164/9 in 20 overs and lost the match by 13
runs.
In Pakistan’s
inning Nasir made 56 runs and Hafiz made 43 runs. In New Zealand’s inning
Nikole made 33 runs, Taylor made 26 and Macculan 32 runs.
