Joker has got dull opening on Friday. There was 25% occupancy in the theater all over India. The film showed some jump in the evening shows and collected 4.75 crores. This is one of the bad openings of Akshay's film.
The cause of poor opening is absence of Akshay Kumar from promotional campaign. He kept him away from promotional campaign of “Joker” but continues to promote another film “Oh My God”. There is buzz in the marker that Akshay is annoyed with director and producer Shirish Kunder.
The film has got negative review of film experts. Now, the performance of film is depend on word of mouth, if it would be positive, film will improve and show huge jump on Saturday and Sunday otherwise it will get flop. This is Akshay Kumar’s

On Saturday, the film has taken 15-20% occupancy in the morning and noon shows but it showed some jump in the evening show. So it is expected that the film will do better collection on Saturday and show big jump on Sunday. It is expected that Saturday collection will come in the range of 5-7 crores.
