“Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Doubara” could not sustain well on Monday.
The film showed 50-55% drop on Monday and collected around 4.80 crores. In usual
case it is not as big drop as some website are making hullabaloo but with
respect to its high budget, star cast and other factors, it is below
expectation.
The film got only advantage
of Independence Day thereafter it could not show improvement. If we started to
count reason, that would be long but one important factor is mood of audience,
right now, they are in the mood of watching comedy movie so they prefer to watch
Chennai Express and other major factor is mass area where it got few screens. This
is mass dominated film where it is almost absent.
Naturally, business of OUATIMD’s will be affected. Overall film
has completed 5th day and collected around 46.40 crores on domestic box office.
Its performance on overseas is also below expectation and so far it collected
around 6.80 crores. It should finish first week around 60-62 crores.
