Chennai Express has done super performance on box office and
become highest grosser film of Indian cinema. The film shattered almost all previous
record and set a tough target for any forthcoming film to break this record.

Now, come to 3rd weekend business, CE has done stupendous
performance on third weekend and collected around 10.15 crores though its
screen occupancy reduced with release of “Madras Café”. The film did fantastic
business on third Saturday and Sunday and collected around 2.75 and 4.80
crores. Now, film will collect around 15 crores in 3rd week.
The film had collected around 206 crores in 18 days business on
home box office and more than 100 crores on Overseas centers. This is an
incredible figure but it is true that CE gone beyond all expectation and likely
to finish lifetime around 210-215 crores domestically.
