Madras Café has completed first week decently; the film had
started slowly in initial show on first but film got grew later by positive reviews
and positive public response. This is very good figure for a niche film and
more than expectation.
The film had performed well on weekend and garnered 21 + further
it holds well on weekdays. It got advantage of holiday and garnered around 12
crores. Now, after 7 day’s journey, its total domestic collection is 33 crores
plus.
Film holds good number of screen in second week and expeted to continues
performance but its performace can get affetected by performance of mega film “Satyagraha”.
Right now, life time collection looks around 40-45 crores but it can touch 50
crores mark.
